No Place to Call EP Coming Spring 2016

I’m so excited to share with you that my new EP, No Place to Call, will be available SO SOON! We’re getting everything finalized, but let’s say in the next few months, you can have it in your hands/ears, whatever. The EP was recorded at Catherine North Studios with the incredibly talented Dan Hosh (Whitehorse, Rose Cousins) and mastered by Elliott Brood’s Stephen Pitkin. I’ve got five new tracks to share with you. I can’t wait to get it your way!

I’m incredibly excited to announce that I’ll be playing a tune at the upcoming 2015 JUNOs Concert Series: The Love Song Edition on Valentine’s Day at Mills’ Hardware. I’ll be playing alongside the finest in Hamilton, like Terra Lightfoot, Tom Wilson, Tomi Swick, Lori Yates, Ginger St. James, and of course, Harlan Pepper as the House Band. You can get tickets here. I’m so excited to share with you that we’ve been nominated for TWO Hamilton Music Awards: Best New Artist/Group and Best Alt/Country Recording. It’s such an honour to be nominated with such amazing other Hamilton talent and we’re so excited to join in on the festivities!

We will also be performing at a girls night Hamilton Music Awards Festival Showcase at This Ain’t Hollywood. We’ll be there Friday November 15th. Also on the bill are: Buckshot Bebee & The Secret Boyfriends, Ginger St. James Band, Missy Bauman, and Molly Babin. The show starts at 9PM, with doors at 8. Tickets can be bought at the door for $8, or you can purchase a festival pass from Picks and Sticks, Ticketmaster, or Dr. Disc.

I’ve been fortunate enough to share the stage with all of the amazing performers on this bill, and it made me want to get them all together at one gig! As far as I’m concerned, these are the best of the best, guys.

BEGINNINGS artists include: Yasgurs Farm, Tim Watson (and his beautiful unnamed band), Dawn & Marra, The Nighttime Parade, the amazing Whitney Pea, and of course me, and my band, Gillian Nicola & the Radio Interference.
